For this project I had the great opportunity to help AKA’s awesome Creative Content team finish the new opening sequence of the critically acclaimed crime drama series Silent Witness produced by the BBC.
My contribution to the project was to animate the hero particle. Working from a still image reference, the process involved creating a particle made out of 3D strands of light generated in Trapcode Particular in After Effects. It meant managing over 130 layers and lights spinning and generating lit particles around a glowing sphere.
