Art Direction, Design and Animation for social media content
Netflix commissioned a small series of short form interviews and Q&A videos to raise awareness and create a buzz before & after the launch of the long awaited romantic TV drama series One Day. The interviews videos feature the two main protagonists answering questions, reacting to scenes from the film and the book.
Working alongside a video editor my role was to come up with an overarching style for these assets. I took inspiration from the pinboard with memories and photos found in Emma’s room in the film.
I designed titles, transitions, name tags and custom graphics for each asset utilising paper textures and photo frames whilst keeping the brand guides in mind.

ALCON CONTACT LENSES - ART DIRECTION FOR PROMO VIDEO
I was asked to come up with a style, illustrate, design and animate a brief video to introduce the latest contact lenses product from Alcon. These new contact lenses use an innovative hydrogel technology and on top the customer gets access to an industry first feature: an Augmented Reality app to keep millennials audiences engaged at all times.
I designed, rigged characters and animated them in various scenarios in order to illustrate the product's features. Utilising organic shapes liquid transitions as well as clear typography helped bringing it all to life.

CORPORATE COMMS VIDEO - ART DIRECTION
Look and feel - brand video
Suntrust and BB&T, two US based trusted financial organisations, completed a merger of equals to become Truist.
The film was commissioned with the goal to highlight Suntrust’s history and to highlight the shared values of these two organisations and the deep commitment to building a better future for their clients and communities.
Black and white flat graphics and bold typography echoing the past seemed to be the best way to go style-wise because the video had to be ‘brand neutral’.

MCAFFEE – PROTECTING YOUR WOLD ART DIRECTION & DESIGN
McAfee has commissioned EyeKandy to create an animated video that highlights the main features of Mobile Security offered within the various McAfee protection packages.
After a brand revamp back in 2017, McAfee re-wrote their core statement, their tagline became 'Together is power', acknowledging the positive power of working together: 'people, products and solutions working together'.
The video had to reflect the newly identified McAfee brand values: diversity, inclusivity and protection across all aspects of our connected worlds. This is possibly one of the first animated product videos that features a same sex couple. Animation/motion design was the preferred medium in this case because of the flexibility it offers. My role was to come up with an illustration style to solve this brief, to storyboard the different journeys, and to animate and edit the final video.
The video was localised to cover 5 different European markets and published across McAfee's own social media channels.

This was a first stage proposal for a long form data visualisation motion graphic piece about food security issues.

SELFRIDGES INTERNAL COMMUNICATION VIDEO STYLE PROPOSAL
The brief was to come up with a style that would work across 6 different videos, with colour palette being the only difference between each film.
These 6 videos were to be presented at an annual board meeting presentation.
Inspiration was taken from the 50s-60s graphic design era, including Saul Bass' and Paul Rand's designs.
